Had a great weekend cause my brother and sis-in-law and nephew came up! We always have a ton of fun with them. Their dog and my dog met for the first time and played. It was a riot! We couldn't stop laughing at them and our bellies hurt so much. My bro and SIL used to live in Timmins which is about 7 hours from here but they moved back to my home town so now they are only 3 hours away which is so much better but I still wish they lived closer.
Today I decided to get some spring cleaning started cause it's in the air... you can feel it and smell it and I am so glad. D and I washed windows while listening to the Beatles cranked! Then when I was about to pull out the vacuum someone decided it was the time to watch Kung Fu Panda again. I am just waiting for it to be over to get the vacuuming done. Tomorrow I think I will be washing walls and baseboards. I have to get hubby to fix my clothesline so I can wash curtains and bedding and get it on the line. Nothing is better than bedding hung on the line in spring. I can't wait!!
The only thing I don't like about the spring is the mud and dirt. Now that we have a dog, I hate it so much more. The puppy comes in all covered and we have to wipe her down before we let her in. Remind me again why we got a dog? LOL. She is sweet so I guess I will get over it.
Well, back to the spring cleaning and the laundry.

I hear ya! Wet dogs are a pain in the ass! But they are worth it! If you clean your house all up and still have energy you are more than welcomed to drive over here and clean mine too! lol... just think I have husky hair everywhere, fun! Hope the Kung Fu Panda doesn't drive you nuts... I hate watching the same movie over and over and over...
ReplyDeletePuppies (at what ever age they are) can't take their paws off at the door. I learned that a number of years ago. Although the typical family back yard can be messy in the spring, I dare most anyone to find more mud that the local dogs do here with a field, creek & assorted swill ways around for all the animals to experience in all their messy glory in spring. A number of years ago we decided to lose the Berber carpet & find that hardwood is SOOO much easier to clean up after the fact! :)
